This bag tag challenge will work the same way it did last year .
We ask that when you play a tag challenge round that you submit your own updates. The final update at the end of the year will be posted by the CDGA. If you look on the main bag tag page you can click "Submit bag tag updates" after that click "Submit player tags" Then all you have to do is change the tag number which you have.
FAQ.
Ties go to the lowest tag holder prior to round.
You can exchange tags during doubles events, or any event really.
How doubles work. All those who want to battle for tags agree to do such before the flip (Not all the players playing doubles need to be involved the tag challenge). Then play like normal. Winning team gets the two lowest tags (Assuming both players on winning team had tags, if only one person on the team had a tag, then just he gets a tag) and go until all tags are handed out. Whomever had the lowest number tag on the team receives the lowest tag.
If battling for tags during handicap doubles, use the handicapped score to determine winners. This allows for more movement with tags.
During Tuesday league rounds your tag is automatically up for grabs. If you don't care to wait around or even deal with the tags, you may take the highest tag available of the ones turned in for that round. The 2 league rounds on Tuesday are separate. Tags will be given back at the end of the AM round and at the end of the PM round.
There will again be an end of the season tournament for bag tag holders only. Updates will be coming later in the year on the date and time for the tournament once the league party has been scheduled. This tournament will be free of charge.
Remember, the bag tag challenge is not just during league rounds but whenever you are on the course with another tag holder. This means tournaments and casual play. But, you must challenge your opponent before the round.
Any Questions I may not have covered please ask and I will answer as promptly as I can.
