It was a crazy season with even crazier weather!! But as you know, us pirates will not be stopped! We had a total of 94 pirates join us at the 19 different courses we played throughout the season! Big CHA! to all of you, it was truly awesome!

We closed it out on the shores of Barbosa White's legendary course! We had 21 pirates and taking down the W with a -13 was Hepler/Pizi! There were 7 CTP/Longest putts. I cant remember who all won them but I do know that "B" took 3 of them & Quarters ($23.69).

Now for the best part! we had 2 berths to Michigan state finals to give away!! I cannot believe that all these pirates let 2 counsel members take them, I mean really guys & gals, how could you let that happen?

Your 2017/2018 24 CHA!NS league Champion is yours truly, SCOTTIE RESLOCK!! YAY ME!! And yes, I will be taking my berth!

We play in some pretty crappy conditions but this weeks installment of 24 Cha!ns was one of the craziest rounds we have done. A mighty CHA! to all 13 pirates that braved the ice storm and traveled to Robert Morris for this ill advised round! The round was a mix of ice, snow & rain in random intervals! Anything that could be covered in ice WAS covered in ice! We played 18 grueling holes, coming out on top with the only negative score was Kerns/Pizi with a -2, good stuff! Taking the 50/50 & $13.80 in Quarters was yours truly, Scottie Reslock, YAY ME! Birdsall took the Merch CTP. This week is our final Sunday league round before Battle (April 28th) & when we switch to Friday afternoons (May 11th). We will be at the infamous White's Acres, come get some, CHAAAAAAAAA!!

This week is our final round of the 2017/2018 season! We have been invited back to the shores of Barbosa White (apparently he didn't have enough of us the first time!) This will be a great time and if you haven't played there yet here is your chance to add a private course to your list! There will be some added CTP's and the usual shenanigans. Remember that this is someones home so show some damn respect for the property, CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

It has been a crazy couple weeks (thus why am recapping 2 weeks at once) but it has been fun!

Our final $5 Freddy round happened to fall on Easter & April Fools day! As such, the Easter Bunny made a pit stop at Waterworks to hide some treats & shenanigans for us! Congrats to all who found the hidden plunder! Also, thank you Swimmer & Chilly for the CTP's! We had 21 pirates and we played 18 holes whites & reds. Taking down the W was Timmy/Whats? with a -10, good stuff boyz! Zombie took a pre-round CTP of some amazing beer provided by Swimmer, as did Timmy which ended up being 5 Bud Lites & and rocks in a Disc Catcher Box provided by Chilly! lol Trout took 50/50, B & Rico took merch, Matt Bates took the Chilly CTP & Stanial took $17.97 in Quarters!

Next we have our round at River Bends! We had 16 pirates sail to Utica for a great (and long) round! We played 28 holes (27 to make entering scores easier). Tying for the win was Swooptron & Puttimmy, each with -9, nice shootin! Kerns took 50/50, Swimmer took Merch & Phipps won $23.52 in Quarters!

Don't forget to sign up for Battle at the Bay coming up in a couple weeks! There is a sweet players pack & food provided for lunch! Plus it is going to be a super fun event! Also, Sage Creek this Sunday for league, DON'T MISS OUT, CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Thank you to Mike Swimmer for an added CTP, CHAAAAAA!! We played an extended 27 hole layout, taking out the competition was Kerns/Pizi with a -8. Reslock took 50/50 & Merch, Kerns took the Poop Fish CTP, and Timmy collected $14.95 & some bottle caps from the Quarter sack!

This week we are back at the home base for a $5 Freddy round ($10 all in)! It happens to be Easter & April Fools Day so expect some extra shenanigans! I know many have family stuff so we won't be too upset if there is a small turnout! CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Taking the longest putt was Skip Howard, Pre-round CTP (Jameson) also went to Skip! CTP went to Jopps, Merch went to Danly! 50/50 went to Cody Vance! Quarters went to Skar for a total of $40.20, DAMN!!

Addison Oaks has taken a big lead but it is early in the voting so who knows! Don't forget to sign up for the Cassandra Memorial this Saturday if you haven't already. Battle at the Bay is coming up in late April so make sure you sign up for that! CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Taking the 50/50 was Pizi, Phipps snagged the J Tron CTP, Brian Fallon won Merch, and Phipps also took $23.12 in "Quarters" & no aces for once!!

Next week we are going to do a bit of traveling. All courses mentioned are less than 100 miles away. If I find there is an event/league already there I may strike that from the list. Winning the day, tied at -12 was Puttimus/Reslock & Jub Jub/Chilly, great shooting indeed! Of course it wouldn't be Pirate Camp without someone smashing an ace right? BOO THIS MAN, taking $38 and untold pirate booty, with an ace on hole #16, JEFF HEPLER!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Hepler also took the merch CTP, 50/50 went to Scar & Dan Lee takes down $19.82 in quarters!

I don't recall what the real feel was but it was in the -10/ -15 range, ouch! We played reds twice (as fast as we could) and coming out on top was Big Tex/Dan Lee with a -8, good shooting fellers! I don't have to report an ace for the first time in a month lol! Taking CTP's was Kerns, J Tron, Dan Lee & birthday boy Hepler!

That was a decrease from 28 people last year, however, it was also about 30 or so degrees warmer so its all good! We played red twice, tying for the W was Puttimus/Trout(Skar) & Dan Lee/J Tron with -15, nice! Smashing an ace on hole #6 the second time around, taking $75 from the one day $5 ace pool, BOO THIS MAN, Chilly Chilson! BOOOOOOOOO!!

This week we are at our home port Waterworks for our monthly cash game. We play 18 shorts with hole #5 from the longs (because #3 long was all ice). Taking the W, not sure how ya'll let it happen, was Nels/Reslock at -11, way to go partner! This week we will be headed to Bandi for our annual disc exchange! Rules are bring a new disc ($15-$20 in value) wrapped. You can go above & beyond if you so choose. At the conclusion of the round we will go from best to worst score and everyone who brought a present will get a present. Also there will be a $10 optional buy in for the CTP's that will be on every hole and for the ace pool that will be paid out that day either by hitting an ace or a throw off at the end. Our normal ace pool will be put away for the day (which is good because it has been decimated as of late! lol) I hope to see a lot of pirates, last year we had a big crowd! CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!

Also thanks to Todd White, Dave Banninger, Chilly & Danger Dave for donating CTP's! We played 18 holes & were 20 pirates deep! Taking the W, no surprise, was Puttimus/Chilly with a -12! CTP winners were Dan Lee x2, Broski, Timbo, Puttimus, Pizi, Parker(50/50) & Chilly(quarters). We also had 2 aces. Dan Lee hit for the second time this season (make sure ya boo him when ya see him!) on hole #1 the second time around & Timbo also smashed one on hole #4 the second time around. They both took $30 and untold pirate booty! Best of all, before those aces, our very own Nels Farnstrom hit the infamous BLACK ACE!! It occurred on hole 2 and now he owes 19 pirates $1 each! LMFOA!!

It is that time of year again pirates! This year we are doing our X-Mas disc exchange at the lovely Bandemer Park in A2! The round itself will be almost like last year. $5 for CTPS, there will be at least one on each hole. Also, $5 ace pool, this will be separate from our normal ace pool (not included) and will be paid out at the conclusion of the day one way or another! Then there is the disc exchange! Bring a wrapped disc (new or at least a good older/oop disc). Generally we like to say at a value of around $15-$20 but can be more if you are in the holiday spirit. At the end of the round the team with the best score gets to pick first and so on till all the discs are gone. We had a great time last year with something like 30 pirates! Ahoy you pirate scum! This week we are raiding the DGLA opener which is at The Farm House in A2. This a really fun day so I suggest you show up! We will be going by Ypsi Dubs rules so we will not be in a mob and we will do our best to cut the shenanigans (I said our best). 10:30am is tee off but by all means come early! There is also a chili cook off right after the first round. If you bring some chili there is a contest that goes along with it. If you are not bringing any its okay, there will be plenty and I do believe they are excepting donations.

Since this is technically a Church league round there will be no points for this week in 24 Chains league (because your not getting points for both!)
