Needs to be maintained. Extremely over grown. Dinosaur cabbage everywhere

City park course that plays from 3 sets of natural tees marked with spray paint on paver stones. The course begins and ends in an open field, with the middle holes wooded and technical, a few along a winding river. Fair share of wooded tunnel shots with some tight lines and creative pin placements. Heavily wooded and dense rough. U Disc maps aids navigation. Some litter primarily along the first hole but otherwise pretty clean. There is a homeless camp with tents on hole 3.

The course is well laid out, and pretty fun when it's maintained. It could benefit a lot from better tee IDs and some concrete pads (or asphalt even).

This place is pretty difficult to play in. The forest is on all sides and there's even a river in case you really wanted to lose a disc. I left in a hurry today because I thought it was overgrown with poison ivy. I've been told that the plant in question was something else, so I am changing my F- review to a C- (reflecting my experience there a few years ago), on the assumption that it isn't actually poison ivy.

This place sucks and for it to have the B- rating is a joke

You can tell recently that somebody has been putting in some sweat equity into this course, it seems as though this place is getting some love. I think this course has seen better days, but it looks like it is having a resurgence. Baskets are in pretty good shape. Park doesn't seem very busy; there was no one there when I played. Baseball diamond appears to be essentially abandoned from the 1970's. I am pretty sure they didn't film Field of Dreams here. Pro, Am, and Beginner tees for every ho ...

This course isn't easy or a gimme from any set of teepads. Which is awesome. There is so much potential with this course, and can't wait to see what the future holds for it! 24 Cha!ns have worked their butts off to maintain this place and it shows! Favorite 9 hole course easily.

A course that has come a long way has a ways to go but a great course, it's 9 holes so it's no A+ but it's a solid course that is truely beautiful land. The tees are dirt with a marker but 24 chains and A3 are fundraising to add concrete to the tees before next year. A3 installed the course in 2007 but it never really found its feet until 2012 when the 24 chains adopted the course and invested the effort to keep it clean and beautiful.

It's only getting better every year. The land is just beautiful, amazing river, island hole, wide open shots and tight wooded it's a great 9 hole.

First visit notes: a bit gritty, both by location, conditions, and details. But this is easily one of the most fun 9 holes I've played. If you can look past it's roughness you'll find a great shot selection with some fun runners mixed with tough and tricky holes. Basket placements are well done, with one hole (5?) using a thin strip of land with water left and dense rough and a drop off on the back and right side. I love when designers throw seemingly easy looking shots for a loop with smart use ...

Tends to get a bit muddy near the water. Not maintained as well as some courses, but if you go after a fresh mow it's not so bad.

If you can look past the location, this is a great home course. It has woods, water, and field holes. Compared to Bandemer, it has better lines, as well as the opportunity to open up and throw a couple 600' holes. No concrete pads, but again, compared to Bandemer's short-ass pads, I prefer here. Plus a half grade for 3 giant baseball fields; when I miss my drive I can pick up and field throw.

A fun 9 hole course with a mix of wide open holes (1,7,8 and 9) and some wooded holes (2,3,4,5 and 6). Three sets of natural tee pads gives players the option to play different layouts. This is one of those courses that grows on you the more you play it, as I seem to like it more and more each time I play there. Also an ideal course for a GLOW round. Could use some more trash cans, signage and cement pads but still very solid as it plays today. Big thanks to 24 Cha!ns club for the course upkeep here.

Ok this course could use tee pads and whatever else other people have mentioned, but even without all that stuff it's just plain fun to play out here. I don't know what it is about this course, maybe cause it has a little of everything, but I never really get tired of playing it. There's water, there's woods, and there's open shots. 3 sets of tee pads create distance on several holes that will allow you to open up the cannon, and then go straight to technical wooded holes for finesse shots. Pira ...

Pros: - Hardly played by the rest of the world, This little 9 hole sits in a seedy part of town yes but has potential to be a decent 3-star course with a little leg work. Open holes yes but wind comes into effect making even those not so easy on gusty days. Short in the wood holes yes, But water comes into play on some and will make you choose wisely. This course is great to work on your tunnel shots and open field bombs. Cons: Two Words for this course.. GanG-Starr.. Seedy 'Hood - Che ...

This course has had some MAJOR improvements by the 24 CHA!NS League and is looking great!

Tee's are still dirt, but clearly outlined with paver stones. Ivy is all gone except on 3, but won't give you too much trouble. Paths and Fairways have been cleaned and raked and will be kept up throughout the Summer. All Baskets are accounted for and have been for some time now.

The course is gathering more golfers everyday, so come on out and see what the hype is all about!

Ok so 2nd time here i can actually Assess A review. Yes horrible dirt tees( lots of stand still) . Sick design of holes for the area and great pin placements. Yes shady area but i aint scured! Couple holes in the open and rest in the woods. No distance on tees, salt! not a course to play unless dry conditions. 3 sets of tees: blues(longs), whites(mids),reds(shorts).

24 Cha!ns DGL has kicked some major ass out here and is pushing this course to it's true potential. They have now adopted the park officially through the city. Good stuff is happening, contact Gabe "The Admiral" Dotson on how you can help contribute.

Lots of recent work done here and the course looks great. Fun and challenging lines. Good job to the locals who wanted this course to survive.
