If you want to stop by Tuesday Ben, KC and I and possibly a couple other will be there if you want to bring lamented signs/flags to post for Mandatory Markers. #1 Tree should be Mando left, and #6 should be Mando straight out(not slight left to backdoor) for obvious safety reasons.

If someone can help me decide/mark them tonight, we can have them in effect Sunday (for safety reasons they are good ideas with 45 people on the course). I am not a fan of mandos, unless for safety, but in this case those would definitely be, can't have a hyzer bomb dropping on someone putting on #7.

Since any shot that goes right of the tree on #1(over baseball diamond) will go over the basket/fairway of #7, for safety reasons, it should me a Mandatory Left of Tree. As for #6 it should be a Mando to out and around instead of going through the back again for safety as Mid/Long Tee's for #5 are there.

The hope is to have them 100% before Sunday. Thanks for the kind words on the clean up, Yes the mandos will stay, those whom remember them should remind the newbies.

baskets now have florescent orange tape on the physical pin, so you can now see them from a longer distance. You can thank the Admiral for that. Not sure why or who, but someone shoved a pole into the top of some of baskets. Meant to take those down. I know 24 Cha!ns has some plans to make the baskets better in the very near future. Also filled a TON of gopher/animal holes, but continue to watch out for ankle breakers.

I would like to thank Mike Even, Miah Swain, Cassidy Mayne, Dan Whitlock, Sean Newland, Felicia Sills, K.C. Skedzielewski, Steve Tubbert, Anthony Voss, Stevo Masten, Sheldon Bowen for coming out and spending a Saturday morning to fix up a forgotten course.
I think that the work that was done is a great step toward fixing this course up and hopefully with the motivation of others and within ourselves we can make this course something that people will want to play (at least once). Future wo ... more

Ben you can pick up a can of environmentally non-toxic hippie approved spray paint at Lowes. Might be a good idea to have a can laying around anyways for Lakeshore and whatnot.

Oh, Kenny road/parking lot on 8 is OB son.

if you are out there and have the means please help the tee pads out on the field shots.. I think getting those int he ground prior to them growing legs and finding new homes is a must.

This course is rapidly reaching B+/A- ranking. I will let the Admiral get into all the details of what has been done, but 24 Cha!ns DGL was out there for 8+ hours this past Saturday. I must admit, hole 4 is looking amazing its almost a brand new hole. Heads up on hole 3 though...... Poison Ivy is covering 60% of the fairway. Steveo made a path with the weed whacker, but it's pretty gnarly still. Course is looking lean and mean.

Did some work today and course is looking good. Need to drag out the trimmings and fallen. There is about 4-5 truck loads of woodchips near basket 8 so anyone who has a truck and or wheelbarrow please bring it to the work day on sat. It would be great to be able to cover the fairways on 2 and 3 to help slow down the ivy.
