PLEASE follow the link and let Ypsilanti know what is needed in their parks system, Restrooms and more disc golf are just a few things that they themselves have listed.. I think if we list enough about Water Works we might get some fund's thrown our way.. PLEASE take the 5 minutes and do this

heads up!!!!!!! Hole 5 has been deemed "Ship Wreck Cove" 24Cha!ns will be making some tweaks to the hole. It's one of the harder holes for the course, and we plan on increasing the pain factor a bit ;)
oh god what now?that hole is sick, no changes needed
Hunter S. Dotson January 22, 2013 at 2:36am
Talk time.. What would people like to see added / changed (within reason) on this course this coming spring. I would like to draw up a detailed plan for a work day so I can email it to the city for approval.
My personal thoughts.
- Tee markers
- Wooded bulletin board
- Some love and attention to the pavilion
- More trash cans
- Turn the ball diamond lights on till 9-10 p.m (Or whenever the park is posted to be closed)
- Benches on hole 2 and possible others.
Any other suggestions.... Sega
idk.....Spackler couldn't get ride of them at Bushwood Country Club. "In the immortal words of Jean Paul Sartre, 'Au revoir, gopher'." - Carl Spackler,
Please dont poision the wildlife, there are eagles that hunt this area along with other birds of prey!

Lost a precious 4 Chain Blue Soft Magnet on Hole 4. Reward if found. Managed to hang onto her for almost 16 years. Should be on the left side of the far way, lost sight of it on the upshot. 24 Cha!ns and I looked a good 20 mins, and no dice. Name and number is on the back, hopefully she makes it home :(
I live very close and play there often, once some of the snow melts I am sure I will find it.

Well, it was in the fairway when i played and tripped over it. I wonder if a few disc golfers decided to try and move it out of the way.
Ben Calhoun November 9, 2012 at 9:22pm
That sucks! It's not in the way of the fairway at all though I checked it out this morning, I can probably cut a section for a cart to get through it, luckily it's basically just a truck on the ground. Hole is playable.

I would be one of those people if i didn't trip over the tree and messed up the knee.
Felicia Calhoun November 9, 2012 at 7:11am
I don't think its that wide but it is long and fell on an angle. I would suggest a few people to help clear it.
Ben Calhoun November 9, 2012 at 7:01am
How bad is the tree, would I be able to remove it tomorrow, is it more than a foot in diameter?
Felicia Calhoun November 8, 2012 at 10:55pm
Just to let everyone know i just got back from here and there is a tree that has fallen in the middle of hole 2.

What day of the week? Count me in all-day if it's Mon, Tue, or Sun
Hunter S. Dotson October 5, 2012 at 4:20am
Planning another work day coming up in about 2 weeks or so, all are welcome to come help and also shed some input on what tweaks need done. With any luck we may be able ti get some wood chips dropped on the fairways of 2 & 3 as well as finish the 10 ft wood chip circles around baskets on the rest of the holes.

Lost a yellow champ katana on the left side of 1. Number is on there. Please call or text me if you find it. Reward if returned.

Brett Randall is not going to be able to come today - he was in rec men, so a spot may be open ?
Mike Even September 15, 2012 at 12:24am
I have a feeling some design tweaks are brewing in the councils head
Hunter S. Dotson September 14, 2012 at 11:24pm
@ the 4:44 mark, they have the same boards as we installed.. Wonder how many issues they have had with those...
Nick Pacific September 14, 2012 at 10:55pm
Well the blocks would be an even better idea than pads anyways because they can be mowed right over (they aren't raised off the ground, unlike traditional cement tees). As for 5 and 6, you don't have to use the existing pads - I say get creative and move the position (although I agree it is tight).
Hunter S. Dotson September 14, 2012 at 10:20pm
Hmmmm.... Blocks you say... Might be a good run for the next work day if we can raise enough loot. the only holes I would see those being a pain would be 5 and 6 doable but would involve a lot of elbow grease to move the rocks and such. our goal was to outline the pads for the event as well as get the city ok with the idea of having something in the ground and show that it would not impede with their mowers (that was a HUGE concern). Step 2 for the pads would be great to do something like these, price check anyone?
Fill this out people!!!
