Nice start to the round with the elevated Basket on the large rock.
Gas station right across the street to get a drink at.
Cons: Some Holes play fairly close together, not too much of problem though.
Long walk back to the parking lot, if the Church is closed, you could park in the main lot, and split the distance between #1 & #18.
Some of the first 9 are a bit bland.
Other Thoughts: This a really nice Church course, offers a lot to beginning players, and a fun Round for more experienced. Great place to learn the Game on.
Is this the best course within an hour's drive? No, not with the great Courses up in Logansport, Peru, and a bit further north, Akron. Lafayette to the west, has the Wabash Washout.
But coupled with Highland Park (when it's not loaded with goose poop, hit and miss on that) this makes for a fun, casual day of DG.
Many thanks to the Crossroads Community Church for installing this course, and helping to Grow The Sport!
