So well executed, it's not funny. This course is like the best of Morristown Kiwanis meets Victor Ashe...on steroids... with all the little things done right.

Like woodsy & technical? You'll love this course.
Like to bomb? You'll love this course.
Like elevation? You'll love this course.
Like all three? Then you'll REALLY love this course!!!

Outstanding course! Great mix of technical wooded area on the front 9 then opening up to fields where you can bomb. Each hole has 2 pin locations to add variety. Hole 18 is a great epic finish requiring you to throw over a ravine with a fairly tight window. Really cool of Clayton homes to open this course up to the public.

Amazing course but 2-9 Zane be played! Double baskets lm all shots and most tees are astroturf! Well groomed and plays like a real ball golf course

Absolutely beautiful course. Incredible variety on the holes, with the front 9 being mostly wooded, technical shots, and the back 9 opening up a lot more for the power throwers. Well rounded course, and maintained exceptionally.

Wooded hilly front 9 long fairly open back 9. Really nice hole layouts. Hole 15 was maybe a little too tight off tee pad, no real lines to start the hole. Some very long walks between holes and back to parking lot after hole 18.

This review really hurts for me to post because a few years ago if you were to ask me what I thought of The Claytons DGC I would have told you that it was tied at the top as my favorite course (with Sugar Hollow) out of close to 80 different courses I have played. These days, I can not say the same. Not even close. The Claytons (front 9) was shut down for quite some time and was redesigned due to some lodging added by Clayton Homes. With these changes the course changed dramatically. The origina ...

Absolutely loved it! Front 9 is tight in the woods. Back 9 is in the open in the fields and extremely difficult. Great work!

This course is absolutely fantastic. A gem, that is in immaculate condition. Beautifully built tee pads that are large and level turf with nice tee signs. They included three turf pads side-by-side for warming up and two practice baskets. The course design is wonderful with a nice variety of shots required with half the holes in the forest and the other out in the meadow. It also has nice elevation creating some fun tee shots like the signature 18th hole, having to throw off a hill into th ...

Course has something for all throwers! Short and long baskets, turf on most tee pads, tight wooded lines on the front 9 before opening up on the back 9 to let folks air their arm out. I’ve seen complaints about navigating the course (there are literally arrows in the bottom of each basket pointing towards the next tee!) and walking distance (what are we doing folks, this sport involves walking? Get a hoveround and go sit at the mall if you can’t handle some walking) overall this course is hands down a top tier experience, just wait for that view of the mountains from hole 9’s fairway.

On vacation in the Smokies and this was an absolute jackpot find! Was blown away with how well maintained the course was and the variety of play each hole offered! If you’re in the East Tennessee area this is absolutely destination number 1! Also got to play some of the other courses around the Knoxville (Tommy Schumpert and Mounds) and Morristown (Panther Creek and Cherokee) area while in town and none of the other courses came close!
