very confusing, my buddy had already been there and he still didn't know how to get from hole to hole without wandering around for a couple of minutes. A variety of shots which is nice just very unsiclicle

Wow -- this course was confusing. I asked for help from other players experienced with the course, and they were confusing themselves explaining the layout. Definately print a map to take with ya... fun course though...once you get your bearings.

A long course wth plenty of variety and elevation. Will challenge golfers to use all their shots. Holes #2, #4 and #7 are particularly tough. Has a nice mix of wooded holes that require a well placed drive and open fairways that let you air it out. Definitely print a map your first time but well worth the effort. Well maintained wth nice tees and baskets.

A nice mix of open and wooded holes. Very unique basket placements with some slight elevation changes. A little poorly marked, but very fun to play and worth a trip.

Nice holes, some real good bombers and some good technical. But poor layout flow and too many poke and hope holes that took away from good golf and allowed too much luck. Many a good shots that still weren't in good positions to advance the hole or run the basket

One of the best courses in Ohio. Always challenging and fun.

Great course! Diverse mix of long/short, open/narrow. Long pin positions add significant elevation changes. A few holes (1, 4, 9, 16) have screens of trees that reduce your line to a 2-foot gap right off the tee (16), or shooting into a grove and hoping you miss everything.
New tee signs and next tee signs have cleared up the somewhat non-intuitive layout.
Lots of new landscaping work and honeysuckle clearing during the summer of 2016 have really made the course more playable.

Beautiful course, very well maintained by the course liaison. Very challenging course for a beginner. There is no better course to improve your game in the area!

This course plays over a river and along a river bed a few holes starting with 1. If its rained alot lately forget playing here. You cant even cross at some points to get to the baskets. Plays alot in the woods minus a few holes and some are over 500ft.

I really enjoyed the variety at Sycamore Trails! There are wide open holes, trees/low-hanging branches on some holes, and several holes where your drive is HUGE as you are honestly playing for a 3 (or even a 4) from the teepad. The day I went the grass was mowed and it looked fantastic! The signs look very nice and are well marked and the teepads seemed perfectly fine to me. Overall, this is a very good course! TOUGH though! ;)

The holes are all vastly different and challenging, which makes this a great course to play. Worst parking lot entrance in the United States, and lots of highway noise on the middle holes keeps this course from being one of my favorites.

Perfectly maintained for the local, "Best in Dayton," tournament

I was back in Ohio to visit family in June, and I played here one morning. Unbelievably challenging for me! I played alone and I had the whole course to myself, so found myself walking the holes before I played them several times, just to get an idea of what the hole required. I've played The Fort in Ogden, UT 3 times. I would say this course is harder. Uphill, lots of trees and water. So many blind throws. If I lived there, I would play all the time. Very mature, and very well maintained course!

pretty difficult first couple, very good intermediate/advanced course for scenery and experience, as well as difficulty and skill required. overall fun experience.

Fun and challenging design with wooded and open holes. Most holes require shot shaping and distance. Elevation changes with dropoffs on a few holes/baskets. Pretty thick rough. Nice narrow trail paths aid navigation. Good signage, concrete pads and Prodigy T1 baskets. Well maintained but muddy as expected in late winter. Plenty of parking.
