Long holes with open fairways and great use of the sledding hill. 5 of the first 9 holes play the hill. I've learned a lot about how my disc's fly from this course.

This was a super fun course to play.
It goes Hills, woods then distance. Not strictly but kinda.
A lot of care has been taken to hole placement and trees and terrain features to maximize funess. Once this place has some better signage and the non-tossers acclimate to the course; this will be an A grade course

Great park golf course. A couple tee pads could be moved/adjusted to make shots a little more realistic. Overall, definitely recommend.

For what it is, this course is magnificently designed. Once there are tee boxes on every hole it, it will be the premier course in the area. 24 holes, some short but a few with nice distances. Excellent use of the baskets on and around the sled hill.

Pros: Love having a local course that is a step up from Brys. The sledding hill holes are challenging, and the elevated basket is a nice obstacle that I do not see very often. The new chainstars are nice, but you need to hit those chains hard to guarantee you won't get a spit-out. Fun to take my dog with me. Cons: I know it's new, but we need some teepads. The ground where the teepads are supposed to be is getting worn, and muddy. This is the only thing I would change. The walkers occasiona ...

Great use of limited space and geography in a small city park. Good mix of long and short holes, left and right shots, and elevation changes. Also I enjoy the use of a mando and manufactured island green. There will be some learning curve for the neighbors and other park guests, but that is to be expected when placing a course in a well established and busy city park.

Clean park. Nice baskets. No tee pads. Some holes your throwing at the same basket like hole 1 & 13. Some of the holes was sweet and love the baskets on side of hill.

The course has a couple really nice holes, a couple holes with silly lines, and a handful of gimmicks. At times there can be too many people at the park to safely throw every shot. I thought there were a couple of really cool holes but overall I was turned off by a handful of holes with no real good lines and the 45 degree greens. The baskets are obviously great but my first thought is ‘I wish these baskets had gone to a nicer course’ I think an 18 hole layout would have increased the potent ...

Really liked this course. Super nice new baskets, some huge elevation shots, well thought out OB, an island shot and a raised basket are some highlights. Also a nice well maintained indoor area with bathrooms, and places to picnic or grill. Drawbacks are that there are two pads for each basket, and it the course was fit into a smaller area that would be desired (but done well). Also it's in a park so the area is shared, we had to play around a kids party where they were walking a horse in ci ...

Great use of space. Very nice layout, lots of variety, including elevation on sledding hill. Great course.

Very well put together course, especially with the amount of land they're working with, and the other obstacles in the park. Not a ton of super long holes, but they make that up with technicality. Great place for some park golf!

A much needed breath of fresh air on the east side of Detroit. Elevation changes, hillside greens, protected fairways, island green, and blind tee shots, all in an amazing public park. Air-Conditioned halfway house/clubhouse with fresh water and bathrooms. Oh the Possibilities, this will be a mainstay to the locals young and old and travelers alike, come on out and shoot on the brand new Candy Apple Red DISCRAFT CHAINSTAR PROS. Get Out and Throw. Par is 72 with 24 tee pads on 12 basket locations.

Great utilization of land! Great baskets and tee pads are coming next. It is great to have a course like this closer to home!

Great course. Challenging but super fun to play. Safety is an issue on some holes for both the people enjoying he park and the disc golfers. Other than that, this is a go to for me, since its close to home.

Great course with lots of potential, needs a few tee pads but baskets are brand new. Walkers and park-goers are hazards on busy days. Some holes on a sledding hill help mix it up with some elevation changes. Overall nice course for the eastsiders.

Clean park. Challenging holes. Excellent facility. Good use of space. Equally as good for conditioning as well as honing your game. Even though all of the holes are well thought out, I feel the layout could have been better for all levels of play and not cater toward the advanced level of play. In other words, I would play here often if I didn't have to cross train up and down the hill 7 times for 51/2 holes times 2. Preferably it would be a flat 9×2, 18 hole with an optional 3×2, 24 hole. Th ...

Nice job, guys!! A good mix of challenging, two shot holes and a welcome addition to the east side. Players have been hungry for another solid course to frequent and this is it. I’m surprised the city let you guys use so much of the park, which is almost too good to be true. I’ve already seen two instances of “hey I wanna start playing, too”, a result of the butterfly effect of someone’s hard work combined with people getting the word out (a beautiful thing). Fingers crossed that all p ...
