I was playing DG at Seneca with my family yesterday afternoon between 5:30pm -7pm. We discovered this morning that my son's water bottle went missing from our bag. It is a Blue CONTIGO water bottle with the name TEAGAN on it. Please let me know if anyone has come across it playing today or if there is a lost and found. We only played 9 holes. I think that it might be at the tee off bench at H9 as that was the only time I can recall that we sat down to wait for another person throwing befo ... more
I can tell you that nothing was reported as found prior to my departure from the course on Saturday. I will reach out to the park and see if anything was turned in.

And Darnestown is open (Darnestown swim & racquet club) and is one of the most challenging courses in Maryland. Feel free ... more

Hello all. I'm an out of towner looking to throw tomorrow, February 2nd. Any one able to show me the course? I can bring your beverage of choice.
I'm not sure what the conditions are like. There is still 6-12 inches of snow in the woods behind my house! Has anyone be out to the course?

Seneca has been such a disappointment ... One of the richest counties in the country .. All the work they do to that course too keep it in immaculate condition and same old 40 year old baskets
It's a state park and limitations have been placed on actions the club can and cannot take. But please know that we are working on several items for 2024. FYI, the MD Women's Open is an A Tier and has been held at Seneca for the past six years.

There have been many A Tiers at Seneca. A Tier events require both a dedicated staff to run the event, but also requires dedicated and successful fund raisers to meet the sanctioning requirements. While we have been blessed with people who love and care for the course, we have not been as lucky with those willing to bang on doors to raise sponsorship dollars. So when the fund raiser appears - perhaps we would consider hosting another non exclusive A Tier.
