Really enjoy the 9 out here, any updates on back 9?
Matt Phillips August 9, 2020 at 4:11pm
Was a little confusing at first to figure out where each hole was, but easy to figure out after you get started. Hard course if you are a beginner... a lot of woods trees and bushes, if you miss the fairway have fun looking for your disc, overall I give it a B

We will be working on the new 9 12/27 at 9:30am. Come out if you can. Bring cutting supplies and loppers, and gloves.
Currently unable to work with the township due to governmental restrictions.

Teeing off for Tees! CTP prizes have been added to this tournament! If feeding everyone lunch and a Magic Eraser Disc wasn't enough there will be at least 4 CTP's whose value is well in excess of $100. Not only that, but a Dynamic Discs Trooper backpack has been added as a raffle prize. Sign up early! $5 off for signing up by October 14!

Camping around the corner. Where is hole #1
Heres a post copied from another site explaining the course a bit. -- credit to rshrevo https://www.dgcoursereview.com/reviews.php?id=8153&mode=rev
Hole one is about 30ft from the parking lot towards the entrance, you can see the wood in the ground and slight depression. Plays towards the woods by the tennis court, you may be able to barely see basket from tee. Depending on when you are planning to play tomorrow i live real close by andcould show you around.
Thanks. Played it. I've been to a lot of courses. This one was descent to say the least. I'll be back since I'll be camping at Balwin Oaks alot.

Is the full 18 installed yet, or is it still a 9 hole?

I haven't been to this course since the revised design and such. Should I remove the pictures I took when it was the older layout?
Sure, we can likely take them down since they no longer apply.
Done. I'll have to check the course out again if I'm ever in the area!

Saw that baskets are being moved and such. Thanks for your involvement,
Tell us more.
So the 9 will be reconfigured and back up in operation yet this month,
ANy schedule for the other 9?
Who is doing this?
THanks.
The first 9 are in and playable, they still need concrete tee pads and some finishing touches though. Zach Vaughn is handling the redesign
What David said ^^^ The first 9 is playable but a little tough to find your way around. There will be tee signs, concrete tee pads, and short tees added...hopefully soon. Most of that work is reliant on the Twp procuring the supplies. Another 9 holes will be in place sometime this year, I don't have a timeline on that yet.

Rush Creek DGC will be under construction starting in April 2017. 9 holes should be playable by mid April which will initially be labeled 1-9 and will eventually become holes 10-18. There are plans for teesigns, concrete teepads, alternate short tees, and possibly elevated landscaped baskets on some of the holes. Watch as the course slowly comes to life!

To anyone interested, this course will be redesigned to encompass more of the park and become 18 holes. I'm working with the township on design and installation. I am hoping for a late summer early fall completion.
Zachary any more planed days to work on the course this summer? Live in the area and have experience in landscaping so would love to help when possible.
Not sure at the moment. The other 9 holes may wait until the Fall to be installed. I will post here if we add some work days.
Planning to resume work this fall.
