This course was very difficult for me and has a very nice layout. It was a dump! literally, the park is built on a reclaimed landfill and some erosion has uncovered "ancient" trash in some areas. All in all a nice park.

Among the best. This course is brutal if you're the slightest bit off but it's so beautiful and well laid out, a few double bogeys here and there don't even seem to matter.

Awesome course! They have a long layout here, called Charlotte's Web. The short layout is always available to play, they have 2 sets of baskets! This is fairly common in Charlotte, its a disc golf mecca!! Course is TOUGH when you're playing it blind!! I came back the next day to see what i could do...stay tuned!

Renny is another Stan McDaniel piece and helps make the Charlotte scene what it is - bad ass. Renny and Renny Gold play drastically different which is great to have two legit courses on one piece of property. I would rate it higher if High Tension wires did not run throughout the course. Still, there are so many awesome holes its hard to take to much away from it. The rock out croppings with cool basket positions in the rock are something to see - if you didnt know it you would guess at times you were in the mountains. Charlotte Disc Golf is Legit and Renny is part of the whole package.

Played the course a few times back in 2006 while I was in Charlotte for work. Loved the layout and the course was a challenge but fun.

How SICK was this world championship course?! I have never had a course beat me up this bad and still be tons of fun. Beautiful, incredibly challenging, and completely awesome. You can't give it a bad rating for being too hard because this course was made to challenge the top professionals. Amateur players such as myself cannot expect this course to be easy. Enjoy the disc golf and walking on the course so many pros walked on in 2012 worlds.

Hardest course I have ever played both mentally and physically. I think that you can only see the pin from the pad on 3 pads! Definitely go out with a group for spotting. Watch out for the deer!

This course test all the shots in your arsenal. You need to throw high skill shots on almost all holes. It has a mixture of tight technical, parkland long holes, baskets besides cliffs, down and up hill holes, some holes gives you a choice between an anhyzer or hyzer routes. Very fun and challenging course.

Everyone likes this course but it is too long. Layout is hard to follow, crossover baskets and really long walks between holes. Some of the baskets are elevated and placed cool but didn't really care for it. Dinged 6 baskets.

This course will make you throw just about every type of shot in your bag in order to score well. A good mix of tight technical lines, wide open throws, short technical shots and just about everything in between. The variety on this course was really fun, forcing you to shape shots and play position golf to score well. There are some really unique basket placements here, in rocks, around corners, tucked away in the trees, that add to the aesthetic of this course. I only wish I had courses like t ...

This course is a beast! At least the Gold layout is! My Brother and I were in the area and decided to give Renaissance Park a try. I had heard so much about it and heard if I was ever in the area to make sure to play Renaissance Gold. While this is a VERY true tip, don't expect to set your personal best on this course. We were very humbled by long distances, tight fairways, and huge elevation changes. This is a very beautiful course and quite fun to play, but I found out quickly that I had no bu ...
