I thought this was a very good course with lots of creativity, although it does need a little fixing up. I like how most of the holes have unique wooden signs and cool names for each hole. The uphill Hole #6, the signature Ski Jump Hole #9 and the long downhill Hole #10 are all great. Hole #14 is downright ugly, although that didn't bother me personally. Holes #11, 12 & 13 are unique and challenging. There is a nice mix of open-field holes and wooded ones. I thought it was a perfect course for i ...

Plays long, very wooded, very narrow fairways, deep creek in play much of the time. Trust me on this, bring mosquito spray with high content of Deet. If you don't you will become food.

Love the mountain views but the course could be maintained a little better. This course still holds the record for most discs eaten by a course (for the group I play with anyway).

Oxbow is overall one of my favorite courses in the Upper Valley vicinity. It has a great mix of woods and open, with nothing too thick. Good amount of uphill and downhill shots. Can be very wet in the spring and can get very thick on the unmowed sides in the summer. Also a fairly quiet course.

Pros: Free; premium baskets; good combination of wooded/open holes.
Cons: Natural (slippery when wet) tee pads; a lot of walking in between holes; poor navigation; hole distances written in "yards" on tee signs.

This is my 2nd favorite course. It's got a good bit of "personality" with each hole having a name and theme. That's kinda cool.
It's got a nice mix of variety: A few very short holes, some wooded holes, up hills, downhills and a few open holes and a few where you toss from top of the hill and just watch your disc glide forever.

Only dislike is where the end several holes of the course goes around the football field. Fine if there's no game going on, otherwise too many people around on the back few holes.

Nice course, needs better teepads and updated signage.
