Great course, open fairways for the most part but the rough can be unforgiving! This course can make or break ya in a tournament! Very nicely taken care of and very clean! Thanks to Larry and his crew and everyone else who helps!!

Home Course to me, love this course. Nice open fairway's, nice challenging holes I feel. Only downside I have is the rough is very rough, once you get stuck in there it's almost impossible to recover.

Gorgeous forest course that has everything but wayer hazards. Challenging short and long holes with mild elevation and wide fairways. Good flow and easy navigation, plays from shorts and longs. The longs are quite a bit much more demanding. The rough is thick on numerous holes. Good tee signs, 2 sets of concrete pads per hole. Nice ChainStar Pro basket placement. Clean, well maintained and plenty of garbage cans. Spacious parking lot. Overall a great course.

One of the best courses in Kalamazoo. I really enjoy playing here. I consider this an intermediate course. Love the option of either playing the long or short teepads. I love that this is a technical but not too technical course. This entire course is in the woods but the fairways are mostly wide open with a few trees scattered about. Straight shots, doglegs and a couple of tight tunnel and a downhill fairway are offered here. Course flows and navigates well and a couple of the baskets are elevat ...

Made it down to this course for the first time a week ago and I'm disappointed I didn't go sooner. Fairways are technical, but not too tight. The long tees test your control and distance constantly as most of the pins are not reachable from the tee. The locals were friendly and seem to treat the course with respect. My only knock on this course is the tee signs. The hole numbers were legible, but distances and hole location were not. Definitely something to fix eventually, but nothing that should keep anyone away from checking out this fantastic course.

This course has nice wide fairways, but if you miss, you are going to be in the rough. Fun course to play. Had a disc get eaten by a pine tree, but recovered it. Only complaint keeping it from being an A is how it is marked. It is hard to navigate when you play by yourself for the first time.

Like others have said, it has mostly straight pin positions, needs updated signage, but don't let that steer you away from this course. Nice Tee-Pads and Benches. Mostly wooded, but it's the more open "grassy fairways" type. It has plenty of distance and tight-lines alike, also plays with elevation on a few. This course will test you constantly. Definitely the best course/must play in the immediate Kalamazoo area.

Had the opportunity to play this course for the first time today, my only regret is that I didn't play it sooner. The course demands a variety of shots and really forces you to shape shots and stay on the fairway. Challenging, yet fair. Decent amount of elevation change, nothing drastic. The only reason this was an A- and not an A+ was the poor signage. Tee signs are old and falling apart, not all distances are legible. With that said, I'd go back in a heart beat. Great course and people! We wen ...

Pros: beautiful course, cement pads, nice defined fairways (though some could use a mow). Challenging, if you get off the fairway it's hard to fight your way back.

Cons: after a while, the holes got monotonous. Only the last few had something other than a long, straight-ish fairway. It also seemed like the long tees were added as an afterthought. The tee signs are in rough shape, and it was easy to get turned around due to the many different paths through there (though I didn't have too hard a time finding my way).

All in all, I will play here again, but probably from the short tees.

very fun and challenging wooded course. lots of difficult lines to hit and rough can be fun to find a decent out. would do better on my 2nd run due to finding basket location and such. could use an updated tee signs and navigation arrows would be a simple easy fix to find the next teepads. teepads all were great and a mix of shots must be used. overal fun day

Oshtemo is one of those great disc golf courses that offers up a good challenge, rewards good shots down the fairway, and can be punishing if you find yourself straying too far from fairway. Short and long tee pads keep it fair for people of all skill levels. There's a good mix of distance, and does not favor either a RHBH or a LHBH. The tee pads are nice and long, and give you plenty of space to wind up. This is a great course that every disc golfer should play!

6552 feet par 61. Not as crazy as some of the other courses at Worlds 2015, but a lot of fun. I shot a 62, could have done a bit better but felt good about it (playing longs). In a beautiful park, nice bathrooms, practice basket, a couple of nice looking raised baskets. No real complaints other than a bit of mud.

all wooded. but lightly wooded. If it does go into the woods there isnt thick under growth so it is easy to find. not much elevation change but there isnt water either so dont have to worry about losing discs. Long and short tees are nice. flows really well. sandy.

how can a course without tee signs get a A-?!?!?!? not a bad course overall from the longs but, not enough trash cans, or benches, or directional signs. wet muddy crappy. where are the wood chips. i have played the shorts they are better but still have all the same problems as mentioned.

Beautiful long heavily wooded course. The fairways are very fair and well groomed so hit em or pay the price. Very easy to navigate, even with 2 sets of tees. (We played the longs). I probably only used 6-8 discs to play the round. My 1st 2 shots were usually, throw long then throw long again. Any groups we encountered welcomed us and let us play through. Even though Marcs 400 foot drives don't land in a narrow fairway, there are so many trees that he ended up in the fairway many times due to tree love or tree luck. Great course!

A wonderful course in a city park. Nice selection of holes that flow beautifully from one to the next with minimal walking in between making for a nice quick round. I played the shorts as I was playing the course for the first time and in reality found it a bit easy even if I had a bogey or two. I still shot 4 down. Will play the longs the next time and may have to upgrade my B+ rating.

I love this course to death and I really never get sick of playing it. Concrete tee pads for both the short and long holes and chain star baskets. Course is heavily wooded, but you're rarely throwing directly into a sea of trees; the fariways are grassy and well-defined. Tree placement is both fair and challenging. The long tees add extra elements on nearly every hole and make for some really interesting lines. You'll need a pretty full bag of tricks to shoot well from the longs, and the shor ...

This course has something for everyone. Shorts and longs have cement tees. The shorts are easy and the longs are hard. Shooting a round of par from the longs rates out at 1000. Perfect. Nice restrooms. Lots of parking. Brand new basketball and tennis courts. There's even a whiffleball diamond with a 4 foot homerun fence. Paved walking trails. Bring a family of 10 and everyone can find something fun to do. You don't even have to pay to get into the park. Love it!

There were no signs directing where to go. Of the signs at the long tees - many of them were missing and/or the distances were unreadable. The distances that were readable seemed inaccurate. There wasn't a lot of elevation change. There are no traps. A few baskets were raised, which was a little fun. The lines off the long tees were always different than from the shorts. (+) The fairways are very fair (open, not a lot of obstacles) There's a lot of traffic through the course, including people just walking through (-)

It's deceivingly easy looking but requires a fair amount of skill to navigate some of the tighter wooded fairways. It's easy to get into trouble with an errant throw into the trees. The grounds have always seemed well kept and the locals are very friendly. I have played this one over and over but still enjoy it each time.

First time I've played this course and it was not as trashy as some other reviews say, it probably had some work done. It's not extremely difficult, it has some ace-able holes with some 400+. Overall great course

I loved the course. It was more challenging than my main course, (Kzoo Air zoo) but it was still very playable for my skill level. It forced me to practice a variety of shots, (hyzers, anhyzers, dead straight shots). All in all, i had a lot of fun!

Oshtemo is a very relaxed, and easy going course. Perfect for someone new to disc golfing to get used to there discs, and form. The only problem with the course is the tree's, They will either work with you, or against you. Other than that, I love it.

Oshtemo is a good course. No dangerous holes (water holes) but still challenging. Very nice tee-pads and well maintained. Some debris & garbage present but its to be expected when so close to college campus.

Demanding course from the longs. Very nice layout. Hopefully it was just time of year or something, because it the earth was very wet. Made flatulent sounds with every step I took through the mud (which was everywhere) and you have to walk through it because on the sides are thorn bushes (which are not nice).

amazing course, mostly maintained (some people just dont understand the concept of a trash can). the long drives and some technical putts make it a challenging course, n c'mon, who doesn't like a challenge?

Long and short pads on this course. The two layouts make it feel like two different courses almost. Most holes in are the woods with fairly wide fairways. Accuracy is valued and birdies are clutch since most holes are relatively difficult.

Great beautiful course! Having more signage, and directional signs for those not familiar with the course would make this an A in my book.

It is dificult. It really test the accuracy of your drives and approaches. Not a lot of flooding or wet holes when it rains. Narrow fairways for the most part. Overall a beautiful walk through the woods.

This is a demanding course, definitely the best course in east Kalamazoo area. All the tees are concrete and in good shape. The amateur and professional tees are placed so that each provides unique challenges. This keeps the course fresh as you switch from the amateur to the professional tees. The greatest con to this course is the vandalism.

Great course with lots of varation in the hole layouts. Quite difficult with all the trees, would be better with a map or cards in the beginning so you can see the hole locations!

Tough course, very fair. If you want to be a better golfer just play long tees, daily. Fairways are pretty wide and the rough is brutal. Baskets are in good condition, pads are all doing well and I hope that people start giving this course the respect it deserves, I am looking at you Frat boys.

Oshtemo. I love this course for its beauty in bloom and for it's demanding holes. Set in a public park this course is a real gem for Kalamazoo. From the long tees its the hardest course in the area to shoot par, making Oshtemo Township Park my favorite course to play. With this course having three legit 'Par 4' holes it is easily a championship layout from the long tees. The short tees at Oshtemo are definitely on the opposite end of the spectrum from the long tees here. The am pads put almos ...
