I play Oshtemo ALL the time and I have never been searched or seen cops hiding in the woods like I've heard people say. Now I can't say that some of the morons out there who sit on the long pads on Hole 1 or 3 and smoke right behind where the cops park have never been searched... The park is a no alcohol park but I've never seen anyone get in trouble for drinking on the course. But, like my comment above, as long as you're not a moron doing moronic things...

Hey my west state bretheren. Heading out to kazoo and looking to play Oshtemo. DGR has a post stating cops were searching bags? True, or just report of some knuckleheads being stupid and getting caught? How strict is no alcohol? Thanks for any help.

Yea good luck with that, I lost 3 discs my first day moving down here all with name and number... honor is a hard thing to find these days. Guess discs are more valuable than a man's worth these days...

Lost a dyed firebird on 15 in the pine trees on the right...I'd trade another disc to get that one back. It should have my name and number on it.

I am pretty sure they do but not as frequently as everyone might like. The easier way to make the trash go away is to pack out everything you pack in. Clean up after yourself. Bill is the maintenance guy there, he's a pretty nice guy and works hard to keep the place up and does a good job other than the always full cans. Give him a ring sometime for requests.
