Pros: Good use of wooded areas and open spaces.
Finally we have a course in Mercer County.
Course now has signs.
Cons: Poor course design, plays like NASCAR, nothing but left handed turns.
Whomever desided the course put the tee pads in horrible locations. Some of the B tees are way too short.
Hole 2 needs to be hole 1, why should I have to walk all the way down the path when Hole 1 ends at the parking lot and hole 2 starts at the parking lot?
Other Thoughts: Would be nice to have another 9 holes on this course

Play hole 2 first and end on one, until the pins numbers are switched.

It's a nice course, and the designers did some creative things with doglegs (hole 9 in particular). I played the "A" tees. There is not much in the way of elevation, and many of the holes are pretty straight-ahead affairs, with little strategy required. Nice lengths, and very nicely maintained!

It's a shorter course with well groomed fairways, A and B gravel tee pads and DGA baskets. Mercer County DGC has adopted the course and has been working to improve the primary layout, in addition to adding another 9 holes to make this a fun and challenging round of disc golf. Even though it's located in a busy county park, the disc golf course is in an isolated area for the singular use of disc golf. It's been called "a big left turn" most of the holes bend to the left. the course is in the e ...

Course has had a major upgrade recently, MCDGC club is working to improve the course. That horrible rough has been mowed down between holes 6 and 7.... Many holes have been changed for the better and new holes have been created. New paver tee pads are a recent addition on holes 2-4...more to come...like 9 more hole have been agreed to by the park service.....all good things!

Nice mix of wooded & open holes, decent navigation and great signage here. Nice place for a quick casual round with very little traffic.

Great mix of short and long tees with a variety of technical shots and a few long holes you can just rip it. Great fields for for practice on drives and warming up before a round. Incredibly well maintained.

Great 18 hole wooded course! Both the short and long tees provide interesting challenges for a variety of skill levels. There is a nice balance of open and wooded holes (with the open holes being mostly in the back 9).
Additionally, the course is improved very often by the community and the park.
I feel like every month, there's a new bench or maintenance work done on the treeline/rough.
(If you lose a disc here, reach out to it's Facebook page. I've gotten almost all of my lost discs returned.)

Mercer County Disc Golf Course is a great course, especially for beginners, because the shot selection is diverse, but does not require a huge arm. In the woods, the shots are difficult, but holes 1, 14, and 18 are generally the same. If those holes were changed slightly to be different, I believe it would make the course better. The shorts are a lot easier than the longs, but not by much. Other than that, the course is very clean and the fairways are clearly cut out. I love that there is a fiel ...
