Get your birdies on the more 'Family Friendly' front 9 -- the back nine is challenging -- not in length but in shot-shaping and control. Lots of trees and elevation. Rough can be devastating. Great design by local pro Devon Gunn. Mach 5 Baskets rock -- great tee pads. #13 is intense and difficult -- 2 perfect shots definitely don't guarantee you a Birdie -- Par feels like a birdie. I have only ever heard of one birdie on this hole -- same for par three #11.

Great course. Considering coming camping in the attached campsite next year to play it a bunch. Excellent mix of interesting technical stuff up front and open spaces in the end. Slow start in the beginning, but it quickly gets epic around hole four which is a blind throw up a hill. Worth the drive.

My Local course. Some feel good easy birdie holes mixed in with some of the most challenging holes in the Kootenays! 4.5KM of walking through mid-density forest. Bring your bug spray!
