Big, fun, challenging, you will lose discs here. Some minor issues with course but overall fantastic. This area was extremely windy and tested my skills. -Wesley Clarillos

This is a up and coming monster in the Pac NW disc golf scene. Challenging, fair, creative, and most importantly FUN! As people have said there are a few issues that need cleared up, but the structure for a GREAT course is there. Awesome work Port of Cascade Locks, DC Dan, and all the volunteers that made this happen.

This is a long course that can be very tough cause of the high winds that are ALWAYS blowing through the gorge. Most of the holes are in the open with just a few trees and low brush on each hole. #'s 5-9 are awesome!!!! These holes are down through the woods then back up and out onto the flats again. The course has very nice baskets and large concrete tee pads with exception of a few holes which are tee'd off from the asphalt. Lock Approach has the potential to be a very nice course with some more work done(brush clearing).

Beautiful course, but a scary disc-eating monster.

Update: DC Dan rocks. The course is getting beat in, and is playing awesome. This course has it all, and will make you a better player. Hole 8 is the sickest tunnel shot on any course, and is my favorite hole at lox. 1 thing: some of the distances marked are not accurate. My drive maxes out at 350 average. Hole 14 is marked at 445. I birdie that hole 99% of the time, but I can't even get close to hole 17 which is posted at 414. Also, hole 3 is posted 229. I believe it's closer to 300ft.
