A tight course using 9 baskets from two positions. When there are not many players or hikers it makes for a great hour and a bit. But crossfire can be hazardous to dog walkers and the uninitiated. New tee pads are beautiful. But signage at this point is notta but coming soon. Watch for someones update. U disc does help. A tight course using 9 baskets from two positions. When there are not many players or hikers it makes for a great hour and a bit. But crossfire can be hazardous to dog walkers and the uninitiated. A couple of yellow watch for flying discs signs would be appropriate at beginning of the walking trail. The pros of Knox is the the location in the heart of the city. Some low hanging summer leaves will grab a disc or two. One elevated tee box makes for a great view over a scenic Lake. The rock Cliffs behind the second tee box are real buttes. This course does have sandtraps too,, something I have not seen anywhere else. Continual work by the local dg volunteers and City are perking up the park for sure. And the climate here is pretty darn fine making for long seasons without much downtime. All local players are great with helping point the way to the tee boxes and anything else you need to know about the park.

Knox has steadily improved over the years and is a well laid out course considering it's size and the fact it has 18 holes on 9 baskets. There are many fun technical lines to throw in the trees and from high ground, and some well placed baskets to create a variety of putting challenges. The tees are nice, but a bit small, and the signage is lacking. Without udisc or a course regular in your group, it is tough navigating where to go on some holes. There are many fun technical lines to throw in the trees and from high ground, and some well placed baskets to create a variety of putting challenges. The tees are nice, but a bit small, and the signage is lacking. Without udisc or a course regular in your group, it is tough navigating where to go on some holes.

The biggest flaw of this course is simply how busy it gets. While the hole placement is efficient, it creates a lot of confusion, as does the mixed use nature of the park. That said, if you keep your head on a swivel, are courteous, and call out your shots, this is a manageable problem.
