Kitson is quickly becoming an exceptional course. Excellent design and layout with a lot of variety and challenge, especially from longs (yellow markers with 4 400+ holes). Hole 18 is 700+. In my opinion some of the shorts (red markers) could be a little longer to add to the degree of difficulty. Perfect for recreational users though. The first 2 holes are open but 1’s basket has guardian trees and stacked wood and 2’s basket is next to a tree and rough on the right. The remainder of the cou ...

There are 18 holes in now and many are MPO caliber and hole 13 up on the hill is rollaway city and picture pretty. A lot of different shots and punishing rough. Front 9 is relatively easy and the back 9 is very hard. Ace runs and placement shots, and short and long pads, provide fun for every skill level! This course is under the radar and with some more love, could be the best in the area. The last few holes are unplayable in the summer because they are so overgrown.

Fun 13 hole course, a lot of diversity. 14 is being cut as of 1-12-2020. Gets muddy at times, including majority of tees. Concrete pads coming soon. I give it a B now but once the pads, signage, and roughs aren’t so rough it’ll probably be the best course in the county

15 holes are in. The deuce and die days are over. 400+ heavily wooded holes. The course is rough being new but it sure is a super nice, scenic, and very worthy play from the longs with shorts to boot. This place will definitely be the far superior course to play in genesee county if the last 3 holes are anything nice. And I love goldenrod etc. but they can't compete with what has been done here at the ymca on pierson rd. Once its done and cement teepads are in, this will likely be an A or A+ course. Well worth the play in its current state.
