Please be aware that there will be a lot of Boy Scouts out at Keizer Rapids this weekend having a weekend long camp out and they will be doing some work on the park/course.
So please be aware that they will be out there and say thanks!

Played in the pond and walked the brush (twice)..
only found the Duck DGN disc on 6, I think, our final group threw..
I did find a guy "picling up" discs. I asked him what he found but he wouldn't show me any but a red MVP Glow Volt, maybe. I dont throw MVP so not sure on their discs.
He had about 10 discs under a towel and didn't appear to even play disc golf.

Jason and I just got done with a Keizer Parks board meeting and as a result we at (Pac-West) want to invite any and all to Keizer Rapids on Thursday April 30th at 5:30.
This will be a walk thru of the course to discuss changes/improvements to the course. Basically a fact finding mission and we want to give everyone the chance to voice their thoughts/ideas.
So please be on time, (even a little early), and meet near the practice basket. As we will start on time!

Played the course for the first time today and had a blast. The course a
has a variety of every throw in golf. Also some long and shorter holes. One thing is I do wish is that the course had benches. Maybe not at every hole but every few.

Left a monster on hole 18. It has a very soacific dye on it. If you get it back to me, i have a HUGE reward for you. Way better than the disc itself.

Accidentally left a disc on hole 16/17 I think. It's a glow huk for independence glow gator name and number on it... I would really appreciate getting it back. Reward offered thanks

if you were to find the original tees the signs wild make sense. the concrete pads were put in after the signs were installed at the old tees.

Are there currently 18 baskets? Liked the course last time I played but there was a basket (maybe 2 counting practice basket) missing....just want to make sure it's worth the trip from Portland.

What layout is this in right now? Med (1of2) or Long? 15 and 16 both in long but what is the other one in long?

So when I first put in my score, I put it in Med (1of2) but someone told me it was in Long...only thing is from the Med to Long it doesn't add another birdie/par4 but changes the score. I'll switch back to Med, but just wondering :) thanks

PacWest Disc Golf is looking for volunteers that would be willing to give 5% of the time they play to up keep and maintain our public disc golf courses. We are asking for 1-2hrs per month on your schedule. Tools and equipment are available for use. Focus of this work will be concentrated on Keizer Rapids DGC and Wheatland DGC. I had some free time this morning and had a chance to spend a cpl hours weedwhacking and running the goat on a few fairways. It helped alot on 18, 2,15. Amazing what a little elbow grease can do for a course.

Keizer is way worse than wheetland right now.
IMO.
Yeah about the same as Delavega...
invest in so Technu and you can play anywhere... lather up before the round and wash with it afterwards
also know what it looks like. easy to avoid.
