I am pretty sure those are Discraft baskets. I would guess you would need to talk to them about it. I am also sure theft would be a big reason why they wouldn't

great work with the camp canoe course to all involved. wish it were permanent or semi permanent or available for play at other times throughout the year. maybe once a month pay to play to make it worth the effort. what are the logistics?

Lost White Yeti Hold 23 at ye ol' campground. Wouldn't hate having it back if someone finds it.

do you really want to ask the park to do maintenance on the course? maintenance by non disc golfers? the bulk of the maintenance done is handled by a AM1 player who has done the course maintenance for A3 and hudson for years. the brush piles are not his those are done by somebodie(s) who do not have permission to do trimming and if caught will be dealt with by the park. if there are piles out there the park does not know about them. When we do the maintenance we tell them where the piles are ... more

i could use some help thursday afternoon setting up the OB ropes on the canoe camp course if anybody would like to help. 3PM till 8PM or so. if anybody is willing or able. worked on the ropes for 5 hours tonight got the harder holes done just the ropes along the road needs to be finished. need to mark the tees and basket placement which requires measuring as well.
I could also use help setting up the baskets friday morning once i find out what time they will be delivered by discraft. The course can't open friday for practice until these are completed.

I sent an email, thanks for the link Dan. And I'm not upset, just disappointed because Hudson Mills is getting less and less care over the past few years. The branches have been pilled up for some time as they are all dried out and have been waiting for someone to clean up, on top of all the garbage out on the course.....It's a bummer that we pay to play and the course is lax on maintenance. I also spoke with the gals at the gate about passing a message along to someone in upper man ... more

havent been to the course yet, but will be playing DGLO this weekend. Just seemed to be a ton of discussion lately, hence the post. Cant hurt as long as people are PC about it.

Personally I think both courses are looking great. And I couldn't be happier with all the trimming that has been done in the last couple of weeks. I find it funny how people are upset about the trimmed branches on the ground, all stacked up ready to be picked up with a truck. It is perfectly obvious everything will be in order this weekend.

Noticed the posts about the course and the needed improvement. A while back I contacted the Stony Creek administration in regards to similar issues at the course etc... My questions/comments were responded to in a timely manner by, if I recall the park the Park Superintendent. If it wasnt that exact title it was something close. I would suggest reaching out to them through email. Below is a link that can take you to the park contact page. Scroll down and hit "contact us". There ... more

I love Hudson Mills, I learned to play disc golf on this course. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I hold it to the highest standards. We now we have to pay to play, which I am fine with because my dues are "supposed" to be going towards the course. Having said that....Worse shape I have ever seen this course in. You can see where they have trimmed up the course a little bit, but this place is 100% not ready for DGLO. DGLO is being advertised on the main sign near ... more

Found a copper colored Latitude 64 Halo just laying by the basket on 17, original. No name/# but this group ahead of us was leaving discs everywhere. If you played today and also left behind an Impact, Buzz, and whatever else and happened to leave this one too, it's in the lost & found in the office.

Yes, thank you Jonny V for the much needed work. There is one hole that really needs some major surgery and that hole is the monster hole aka 14. Chainsaws are required to get this hole back to it's original design. If something isn't done in the next year or 2, people are going have to start throwing thumbers.

Thanks jon v for trimming up hOle 5 and 17 on monster! Much appreciated.

The park was out triming the Monster today when I got there. I only played 18 holes black champ, but for the most park it looked good. 8 and 14 are still pretty tight lanes off the tee, but that is nothing new.
lost a yellow star whippet on 18, short of the basket near the edge of swamp. Reward if found, name and number should be on the back
