Very challenging shots at the 250-325 range. Elevation changes make using a cart difficult. Very wooded, but low cut back bushes. Discs that are green/yellow/clear are easily lost. Par scores are misleading - a score of par to +5 on an 18 is very, very good. Hardest course I have played in Alberta. More courses are needed in the area to make the Hinton course into more than just a tournament destination. With continued enthusiastic efforts from local disc golfers, this course could become a gem. A bit of brush and tree maintenance is needed.

I love playing this course! Fun technical lines through a beautiful forest with nice elevation changes. Well signed and easy to find your way to baskets and tees. Birdie opps are there on every hole if you find a good line through the tight fairways and make it through the trees. You'll need some for when trees happen;) A few open holes to let er rip. Good times!

The great equalizer. Tightly-wooded fairways with lots of elevation at play make for a truly challenging course that favors finesse over firepower. MOST of the holes are unique among the rest of the course and not one of them is truly a "gimme". The course will punish you for being greedy or overconfident. Most of the holes are <300' but it can seem like 1000' if you find yourself having to scramble from tree-jail. Course is well-maintained and equipped with 18 discraft disc-catcher baskets as w ...
