There are no starting pads just grass, and since we played in the morning there was dew on the grass so a tad slippery. The chains in the baskets aren't your p.d.g.a. approved chains they were hand built. The baskets must have been crafted in a machine shop. I actually had a disc bounce off the chains in what should have been a very easy 5 ft shot, because i threw it too lightly. The chain must be a heavy duty chain. It was well groomed, a map was provided, and the back 18 is definitely most challenging than the front.
