Pretty solid course. It's not exactly easy, but it's definitely not hard either. The course is brand new so it still needs some grooming in some areas, and the O.B.s haven't been officially established yet. Also, hole 13 doesn't exist due to some poison ivy in the desired area of the fairway.

All in all, it's a really fun and beautiful course. In its current condition I'd give it a B, but once the grooming is done, the O.B.s are placed and hole 13 is playable it will easily be an A- course.

Fun course, much different that the current courses in GR. A lot of open holes with slight obsticles either by the tee or by the basket... course is still missing hole 13 but there is a couple good birdie stretches. Give this course some time and it will be the best course in the area!

Fun course, mainly open but plays well with the terrain. Can't wait till the course is complete. A good course close enough to home to throw in rotation.

Awesome course, needs some benches or something and a drainage system lol but still sick course and shots

Easier course but has nice technical holes as well. This course will get better with time no doubt!

This is one of my new favorite courses! I love the mix of short and long holes. The water makes it challenging, but I would love to see a few tighter and technical holes. Great course and can't wait for the tourneys!

Loved seeing all the Wild life. First Bald Eagle I've seen south of the bridge. Great pathing around the assorted hazards as well.

Would love to see pads at all holes. Water hazards are nice and the course gives a nice mix of distances. Not a whole lot of challenging shots, pretty much grip and rip. Would love to see some tournaments here soon.

Great Course, Wide open in alot of areas while still using what obstacles there are quite well.

Pros: -Nicely Maintained. -A lot of Out of Bounds keeps accuracy a premium, making you think about your shot choice and how the wind will effect your throw. -Risk/reward decisions -mostly open air course letting you see the full flight of your disc. -Trees used as much as possible. -Out of bounds wetlands and sand traps from the former ball golf course make for unique obstacles. -Has the feel of playing on a ball golf course.. because it was. -Awesome Arroyo Vortex Baskets with custom o ...

Definitely a fun course. Very easy to do well on it. Some holes could use more obstacles to make them more challenging. Just disc golf out there, no worry of bystanders wandering around in your way. Nice and close to home.

Beautiful Scenery. I will rate it again once the course is complete... I can wait!
This course needs TEE Pads! Missing hole #13! The course doesn't seem to flow!
I think there is alot of missed opportunities on the design.....It will be nice to see this course in 5 years. I bet it will all get worked out! Beautiful Place!

Challenging course that plays mostly in the open but still requires some technical shots. This also plays along a swamp in some areas so be wary of that, and also thick brush all throughout the course. Could use better signage between some holes for finding the next tee, or even a course map would suffice. Overall a solid course to test out your skills.

Great course that makes you play golf this is not chuck & putt course you actually have to play golf. Some open holes, some holes with tees tucked into pockets as well as pins tucked in pockets also, once again which makes you play golf. There are ob bunkers that will be utilized, ob wetlands. This course was well designed around the terrain. I can't wait to see what the future brings for this well designed course. Just remember when rating this course people this is a reclaimed ball golf course it took a lot thought & planning to design this course.

Best course in Grand Rapids at the moment, hands down. Baskets are nicest baskets I've ever played on. Course could use some more length, there are a decent amount of short, wide open hole. Scenery is absolutely gorgeous. No tee pads yet, although some of the slippery tee pads have some artificial turf thrown down for grip, which helps a little. Good mix of water and ob on some of the holes. 13 still not in...waiting for that to happen. Once the course is fully built probably will be bumped up to A-. Still a great course for Grand Rapids community.

Great use of land. Links style disc golf. Plenty of birdie ops. Bunkers and water used fantastically. One of the best in the GR area without a doubt, although it floods 3/4 of the year.

Overall a nice course to play. Just missing some signage in a couple of places. Could use a layout map of the course too.

This course plays over an old golf course. Which guarantees that this course will have plenty of wide open holes. You are not to going have many technical throws and this course has no elevation to work with. The water was brought into play on several holes. Very impressed with the large disc golf course sign out on the highway. There is a kiosk, a porta potty and garbage can at the start. The tee pads are this rubberized material(like car mats). A little wet when I played, I was worried abou ...

Aside from the goose poop that is pretty much everywhere, this is a decent, fun course. 2, 9, 12, 18 are the best holes to really let one go. 14 is the most likely chance to lose a disc. Water on the left runs the whole length. You have to get it left to right on this one. The mando on 1 doesn't seem necessary. Numerous holes show an out of bounds area surrounding the basket where sand traps from the ball golf course used to be. When they were actual sand traps, it seems stupid that they would ...

It's better than nothing. I hate to be critical of a course without knowing the full extent of what the park would and would not allow, but I was thoroughly underwhelmed! The layout is awkward, the landscape is under utilized, and there were few (if any) exciting hole. The good news is the pads aren't in and the baskets are poured in buckets, so maybe they'll reconsider the layout after some constructive criticism.

My first impression of this course was hearing all the hype for the past year. “It will be the best in the state!” “Grand Isle will be championship quality.” “This will be better then Flip City.” “Greatest course in the world!” With that kind of hype this course had a lot to live up too, and I should say it wasn’t fair. The first time I walked up to tee #1 I saw a pretty wide open hole with just 4 trees to shot through/around and thought ...

Course doesnt flow well, a lot of back and fourth in the open on back 9 , or should i say 8...i can see peeps gettin drilled with discs on a busy day on 3 or 4 holes on back nine...sum of the hole markets are backwards or not near the tee off,... I understand the course is new, and needs to be played in, however i think this course has very little potential... Especially for the 18000 dollars gr rotary north put in the pot... This area floods the entire course in spring , and i hear peeps compla ...
