Grant Harris 61 - Main course, Short tees, 18 holes "I have still not failed to go OB at least once at this place in the last week. The OB only costed one stroke though since it barely rolled OB.
I have struggled more with the backhand as the last 8 days progress. If I do not throw hyzer, then I have end up throwing an-hyzer dramatically. So I am just "stuck" throwing hyzer when throwing backhand, but my forehand has improved. I reliably birdie on 2 and 16. I need to figure out my favorite putter before each round starts.
With my current abilities, my goal is only a 56.
I will be happy to leave this course once I get a 51."+7

Grant Harris 61 - Main course, Short tees, 18 holes "All of the rounds this year had one OB per round. Hopefully next round will have no OB to be able to break OB. My sidearm is a lot better which is why this year's average round is better than last year or 2021.
The two rounds today, I made nearly or all putts within 20 feet. If I can make it reliably from 30 feet, I may become an intermediate to advanced player soon"Friday, April 21, 2023

Grant Harris 58 - Main course, Short tees, 18 holes "There are only one pair of tees. There was no basket for hole 16 so I just guessed where it was and assumed that I would get a par. I was also not sure where the basket for hole 9 was. The best holes were holes 2 and 18. On hole 2, it was 640 feet, which was definitely the longest three I got on a hole. It was a great drive that was followed by a great approach so that I would not need to putt. Pretty sunset. Hole 18 was the only hole on the back nine (new front nine), that I threw full strength. I left it a little short. Then I made my only putt of the night on the last hole. It was a good way to leave the course. A lot of holes on the back nine was bad since I decided to try to throw a big hyzer instead of throwing a midrange. On the front nine, I was only disappointed on hole 3 and 4. On hole 3, I threw a good drive, a bad approach, and missed my putt. On hole 4, I threw a good drive, but right in front of a tree, one of my best forehands in a long time, a big hyzer flick, which was bad since I should have thrown a midrange, and a missed putt. That hole was 801 feet. I restarted the round after four holes after I realized I played the wrong layout."Tuesday, June 7, 2016
