Colorado Mountain College, Leadville

Best course in the high country.

This course is a little more challenging that some of the other local courses, but it is extremely fun and the views from the back nine can not be beat. All 18 just had maps and distances put up at each hole.

I highly recommend this course! There are so many fun holes through the pines with some elevation change. Knowing the lines here may take playing it a couple times. Not overly long but distance here helps, especially with high spikes. Get out and try this course out. Room for another 9+ holes here.

A few of the baskets are still bent up and some of the pads beg for more room but overall, this course has plenty of variety to still stand in my top 10 in Colorado

Front 9 is easily an A rating for me. Fun mid-range to putter tunnel shots that require lots of accuracy. The back 9 gets a little boring and open and is a completely different vibe from the front 9. All in all not a bad course, but if you enjoy tunnel shots I'd suggest playing the front 9 twice.

Very punishing if you can't hit your lines. I was having an off day and had several shots get knocked way into the woods with no line to even get close to the basket. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'm definitely playing this course again

I really liked this course with a few exceptions. The course layout was great. The tee boxes were nice and well marked. The course was easy to follow with well marked paths. The only thing I did not like was a couple things. I think hole 11 you better watch your drove because you are throwing into nothing but sage brush. The other things was the length of the course. It just play long. It would be nice to have some shorter options. A lot of long up hill shots. But would definitely like to go play again.
