Great course for a beginner and challenging enough for intermediate players. More open layout with a touch of forgiveness if you miss your line. Love this course, one of my favorites in the area!

Tremendous technical course that offers a variety of shots. Love it!

I’ve been playing out there since early 90’s. Things have changed a lot since then

Eleven years ago i retired from the sport due to an injury on my throwing hand, and I'm proud to say this was the first course I have played and still remains my favourite course so far. (Not looking down on Deep Creek of course). Playing the full 36 between the two courses(Wellspring) is the only way to go. New pads and signs have been added as well as newer baskets. This is in my top 10 courses I've ever played and Kensington and Hudson Mills used to be my home courses. Keep up the great work out there. Thank you.

Tough to find your way around and the signs are very confusing. Has some nice little elivation changes and just enough trees to shape a specific type of shot. The long holes are pretty open so you can try and go for some big drives.

Over 30 years old and still the standard by which other and new courses are measured. New baskets and pads only add to the greatness of this grand old layout that has undergone changes and modifications over the decades, mostly for the better, particularly taking it back to 18 holes from those stupid years of when it was 20. I just hope that recent personnel changes at the park and in the county's P&R department doesn't cause Cedarock and its sister course, Wellspring and the temp course, Rock Creek to be neglected or even negated.

With a preference for open courses, I still have to speak highly of Wellspring, as it is a well conceived, designed and constructed layout. Makes great use of the available elevation, with well defined fairways through the forest.

Great Course... It's nice to get out of the woods and let some go. We definitely didn't play 20 holes though... not sure where the last two would have been?

First Wide open Course I have ever played. Great course if you dislike playing in the trees.

Learned to play DG here in 1995, at the time people took care of the course (ie. no trash, no cig butts, good vibes). The last time I played here the place was a DUMP! the course was still tough as ever, but it saddened me to see that people just didn't care of their surroundings. GREAT COURSE!

play the previous course first. unless this course is mysteriously listed on this page before wellspring; in which case you should use the one thereafter.
