Only thing missing is some elevation changes; otherwise, has it all!

Camp Taloali is awesome. Space has been utilized well and the course always looks good. Multiple placements make some of the holes very challenging.

Looking pretty good out there right now. Half fairways mowed and half tee pads have wood chips. Downed trees are cleaned up. Working towards a nice season after camp is out.

Technical course that also has openings.
New accurate tee signs would be nice.

For a course at a camp that is not its primary use, this it a very well maintained, fun and challenging course. The layout has a little of everything from open bomber to technical with a little elevation. Spotters are recommended on many of the holes as some baskets are hidden and the brush is thick off the fairway.

Awesome course! You can tell a lot of work has been done here. Good mixture of holes, and making you throw different shots. It's on a camp so please be respectful, and enjoy this great course. Hardly any cons first time players might have a little trouble with navigation, but nothing you won’t figure out.

Really like the course and its always a fun round. Glad to see its getting more cleared out. Just wish they would get new updated tee signs to go with the concrete tee pads. And the basket on 7 being damaged hurts the overall feeling of the course. It's needs to be replaced! Since the repair job was unsuccessful.
EDITED: (4-7-18) Course is steadily improving thanks to dedicated group! Love the progress!

The course is a lil overgrown, so if you get off the fairway you might be looking for your disc for a bit. Other than that, this course is lots of fun, and very challenging. I had a great time playing it, and I can't wait to go back!

Pretty cool course, will be a lot better when it has concrete teepads

This course is Awesome!!! Good baskets and decent tee pads. Great fairways, a big arm (or thumb...herb) helps, but accuracy is key. This is one of the best, most peaceful settings I've played yet! There is no water, restrooms or trash cans, so plan accordingly. They didn't have to let us in there so be respectful to keep this course open. And bring $5. UPDATE! All concrete teepads! They have added trash cans to the course as well. Once the teepads are finished, still drop off on the sides, and t ...

Course is awesome lots of different skill shots, only downfall is its private and isn't open to the public during most of the summer.

You must play a round here if you have not played a true forrest course. Fantastic course for the Mid-Willamette Valley area. MY FAVORITE FOR SURE!!! 2 Thumbs way up. NEEDS T-pads which I believe are going in this month from the sounds of it!

Having concrete tee pads is amazing. With the correct mix of pin placements this course is my 11th favorite in Oregon... Which means it's really fun and awesome.

Really enjoyed the custom format for the 3rd Annual Camp Taloali Deaf Youth Camp Fundraiser, 63 holes. I'm new so the regular 18 were difficult when I got off track and, takes time to locate disc in woods causing beginner to lose rhythm, but all in all good course.

Great course short holes but great placement to make them a little challenging
+3 votes Thomas "T" D. › Camp Taloali DGC › September 22, 2011
Awesome course!! Great technical mix of holes. Needs restrooms, water and trash cans on the course but overall a fantastic lay-out. Take a map or have someone guide thru and you'll be back!! Great maintainence of the course. Play the fairways and you'll shoot a great game. Get into the rough...ouch. Worth the drive from Portland. Even better from Gaston.

way too much underbrush to lose your dusc in and jerry made it right handed majority vof the holes

beautiful setting. great layout. a lot of places to sneak off into the bushes to do things.

This a great course that has really grown up in the last year. Snap has been doing an excellent job putting in alt basket locations and increasing the par of the course.
The only thing this course really needs are better tee pads. Hopefully we will see this within a year.

* UPDATED EDIT FROM 2011 REVIEW * All the work done on this course over the years has turned it into one of Oregon's very best courses. The addition of several alternate tee pads and brand new baskets only add to the luster. Clear fairways. Challenging rough. Couple of mandos. Some O.B. Alternate pin placements. Four optional par 4 holes. Water hazards. This course has it all. No multi use here, just the course. Quiet and beautiful. Truly one of the very best in Oregon and the West Coast.

This course is not open at all times, so I was happy to get down and play it. The course has a really fun lay out. Not too hard, but provides challenges. The tees are natural and the tee signs are helpful. Nice baskets and I hear multiple pin placements now. The flow of the course was great.
