Great day news flash...
I would like to take the time to put a BIG thanks out to Steve Winslow and his group of helpers to accomplish the pouring of final 14 tee pads at Camp Taloali. Also thanks out to Americorp helpers that also participated in this project. I don't know all involved but do know that Steve Winslow and Scottish Rob will have a vacation to remember, thanks guys.

there was talk by the camp people of cutting them off and getting new ones and that's like 300 bucks in locks witch will end up coast us golfers more to play out there if they have to do that

I call him and he is going tomorrow to move the baskets and even set up flags and make a layout paper for the players. What happened in the past has to be forgiven to move forward. He is trying to help in a different way.

MISSING BAGTAG: Dallas T was playing today and lost a CV wooden Bagtag. It's wooden and has brown twine for the rope. $2 reward for finding a stick!! Pretty awesome if I say so myself. If not, we will just make a new one. Thanks!

Been in contact with camp and told we are welcome at 9:00 Monday the 2nd to officially start the after summer season. Hope to see lots of folk's able to make it out. I plan on a couple rounds most likely and welcome all others to join.

COURSE IS CLOSED!!! although I am gona go to the powers that be and see if we could sneek in around between kids groups camping there. they have told me this could work if we plan it out... that means communicate!

LITTER BUGS SUCK IT! did an early round at taloali today and pulled all the covers off the t-pads and broke them suckas in! so nice to have real t-pads at taloali! even the sand t-pads are nice!! finished earlier than planned so I walked the course again and picked up trash because there is a lot of trash on the course. very lame considering this course has trash cans on it and the amount of glass on the course is just bad form! NO GLASS AT CAMP TALOALI!!! "PACK IT IN PACK IT OUT" ...please?

and Humans that don't pick up after thier Best Friends. The only thing worse than dog sh*t on the course..is seeing a Puppy pooping as his Human looks to see if anybody is noticing, then walks away and leaves the Steamer right there!!! POOP IT OUT, PICK IT UP, PACK IT OUT!!

Just back in from full day on course at Taloali doing general cleanup and leaves and limbs. Did not get all the way around course but 12-18 and 2 are done, the rest is as is but that's the way it goes. See whoever for bad ace series tomorrow.

I SPOKE W ITH THE POWERS IN CHARGE TODAY FOR AWHILE ABOUT GOLF COURSE AT "CAMP" GUYS THIS A YOUTH CAMP MEANING WHEN THE COURSE IS CLOSED THERE CAN BE ANY NUMBER OF KIDS RUNNIN THROUGH THE FOREST AND COURSE. Spent today up at Taloali with some of the college teams for their tournament as guide/photos/spotter with Daniel Rehm from Willamette college disc club running the show. It was nice turnout from various campuses around state. I have got course cleaned up a lot last week or two preparing for this so check it out if you haven't been there recently. Lots of nice comments today and first time for most of them. Get the tee pads finished, signage up to date and we will be set with very nice course. Let's put the plan together and get it done and on to the next project.

Just got back from most of the day course maintenance at Taloali and it's looking better, got a lot more leaves moved and cleared. The college teams are playing there Sunday so hope they have a good day. Still plenty to do and hope to hear soon what the plan is to finish pouring 9 tee pads all ready to go so we can move on to back nine. Let's keep on top of our course work so play time can be even more enjoyable please. If in doubt give me a holler.
