This course plays perfect, plenty of challenging holes that will take a variety of shots to navigate lines for scoring potential. I loved the beautiful weather and the course setup. This is one of the best courses I have played in Florida.

A short, tight and technical wooded course. I found too many holes required a left to right shape shot. Not a very interesting course. It does favour the finesse player who doesn't throw very far. Overall, a beginner friendly course with cement tee pads and signage. A good course to stay out of the hot sun.

My favorite of the three courses. One water hole that is easy and fun. I'm from Michigan and I loved this course also picked up one off the course discs at the gift shop. Would definitely recomend this course lots of tee pads. (Bring lots of water).

First and only course ive played in FL, Great signage, but you need to be out of the park at 7pm in the summer (before sunset) bc its next to a camp ground. I didn't have to pay bc i walked in but there is a small fee. For sure still worth coming out to play even if you're the only one on the course. There is a second full 18 at this same park that i can't wait to go and play one day!

Worth the five dollars. There is a place to fill water bottles by hole 1. Great basket placements with nice elevation changes. Holes are mostly open which makes this a great beginner's course; that being said, there are still some very long holes. Awesome looks at the lake. Easier than the T2 course. Bring sunblock and have fun!

It costs five dollars, but it's totally worth it to play two very different 18 hole courses. This course is a lot tougher than it's counter part; even though, it does have less elevation changes. Great basket placements with interesting obstacles! Since I'm from Ohio, I enjoyed the chance to throw around palm trees. There is a drinking fountain with ice cold water next to where you park. Definitely stay hydrated and bring sunblock!

This is by far my favourite course out of the three courses offered here at Bill Frederick Park. A championship style course where long shaped shots are required. Four sets of tees with most being cement. (strangely two blue tees are carpet) A well designed course, where all types of shots is required. Overall, a very fun and challenging course that is primarily parkland with a few wooded holes and one by the lake.

This is a beautiful lake side course with spectacular views around the lake. This course is not too long but challenges you with needing accurate tee shots. The course has two sets of cement tee pads and signage. It also has a slight undulating parkland terrain with the last hole being short and tight. Overall, a fun and challenging course out in the sun.

T2 play Is amazing, well made and perfect mixture of wooded and clear long distance shots.
In this course there's an extremely long fairway, fun for those that can throw far distances.
Pefect for those who is looking to put that long distance throw to the test.
by far best course.we'll maintained park .

The T2 is a fantastic course that has a few more challenging throws compared to its sister. This course has a ton of character for the area and requires that one throw be over water. The tee pads could be cleaned up and the signage could be better.
-  +1 votes  + charles barrieTurkey Lake › September 18, 2023

The T1 is the easier more beginner friendly course in the park. There are few holes that have water in play but at no point are the players required to throw over the water. The terrain of the course is nice enough to allow for the use of strollers. Overall the course has everything a nice course should as far as signage and tee pads. The main draw back is the course lacks challenging length and this is why the course is limited to an A-.

$2 pay to play all day. Well maintained with 2 different layouts. There are a few water holes though only 1 has a real risk factor unless you have a real bad drive off the tee.

Great scenery, the course flowed pretty well but there wasn't much variety of shots. Every basket was basically straight ahead and about 300 feet away. Pretty easy course unless there is wind. I would up the rating to a B if it had more variety in shots and more challenging shots.

The trip to this course was well worth it! The two course are well keep very challeging with great mix of tec, distance and hazards! Awesome community of players that we had the pleasure of joining up for a round on this course. To boot it was my day of birth and it fell on Father's Day as well! No kids no wife just my brother and me playing 36 uninterrupted holes. Loved this place lots of wild mushrooms and cool trees with the Spanish moss we got some good pictures here. I will hopefully make it back for another round someday. Thanks Billy Frederick for the round!

The T2 was my favorite part of the day here! Took me a few holes to get rolling right but found my way into a decent round! Both courses on site offer a well mix of holes and are arguably great course. I think the T2 is the better of the two. Only had a couple holes where we were confused on where the baskets were. But managed just fine. From the longs it's a huge course or at least felt that way maybe it was the fact that it was almost a 100* but it wasa workout. We played really slow moving fr ...

The course has a nice mix of par 3s, 4s and 5s. An all around superb course. 3 concrete tee-pads on every hole. Bag holders on every hole. Great hole signage and directional signs makes it easy to find your way. Long blue tees are very challenging. Red tees are a nice challenge as well for advanced Ams. tight fairways and lots of overhang canopy.

Beginner friendly, not much tree traffic or other obstacles at all, doesn't require player to master multiple shot types since right-hand backhand shots will get you to the target on any hole. Not a difficult course for a <900 rating player to shoot under par.

Tough course. Wish I had my full bag, with the couple of discs I was playing with, I couldn't hit the right lines. Makes you watch your shots, as too much can leave you in the weeds---or trees. Need to go back, I know I could get under 54 here....

Good course. Would have liked to have all my discs, still managed a 50 with only a Chaos, Eagle, Firebird and a Pig. Travel golf with the family. Well maintained, with some water coming into play on a couple of holes. (My wife had to skip them, 5 in particular, and take a drop where she would have gone ob. She only had 3 discs.) A little hard to get around as they just re-did a few holes and the map wasn't quite on target. Fun though. For a challenge play the T2 course--which I did.

Turkey lake's older course, and one of the best courses in the South East. This course offers a well thought out variety of holes, facilities available in various parts of the course, and wonderful scenery. I'd give it an A+... but T2 is even better!

In my opinion this is the best course in the South East I've had the pleasure of playing. T2 like the older course at Turkey Lake offers a variety of holes, facilities available at various parts of the course, and wonderful scenery. T2, however; offers a great deal more challenge then the original course. (It's got possibly the most terrifying water hole I've ever seen) Great course well worth the 5$ per car to park.
