This is a great course to start with when you are beginning disc golf and to return to when you need to work on your driving and putting. The course is set up like a golf course where each 9 returns to the parking lot, this makes it really easy to play a quick 9 holes if you don't have time for a full round. Holes 1 & 9 are side by side and make a great place to practice driving since you can play back and forth pretty easily as long as you avoid the busy times.
The course itself is mostly open and often windy. The front 9 consists of a lot of open shots where you can really let it rip but need to throw the right shot shape to avoid the big trees on each hole. The back 9 plays mostly along the creek and demands a bit more precise positioning while still giving several chances for birdie.
Overall, I enjoy this course. It is not as challenging as most of the other courses in the area and is often busy in the afternoon and early evening, but is a great place to meet other local players.
