Anythings better than the cage laying on the ground. Thanks Mike.
Mike Walker November 21, 2011 at 5:22am
its not the prettiest job,but i put a clamp above and below the weld.it wont fall anymore.it still needs an outer ring for the loose chains.1 ring is missing, and one is wire.
Mike Walker November 19, 2011 at 2:58am
i will try to fix it this weekend.(23)
Lance Bayliss November 18, 2011 at 9:43pm
Agreed!
Tom Jessop November 18, 2011 at 9:34pm
The welds on the basket for 23 are broke. Cage is sitting on the ground

tourny was $350. it didnt say anything on the pay to play leauges the parks and rec just wanted to no thats wut i read
Shaun Adkins November 7, 2011 at 6:19pm
paying money to run a league is fucking retarded. only fully established leagues can actually generate a profit.
Ed Carpus November 7, 2011 at 4:53pm
That seems like a deterrent to using the park...but also makes me want to start a league just to see how they would plan on enforcing it...if we paid their league fee you think they would open the gates in the winter? What if there was a tournament scheduled? Would we have to walk from the front gate?
Tom Jessop November 7, 2011 at 5:32am
Ed what you heard is not a rumor. I was just here yesterday and there is a new letter in the bulletin board saying all tournaments will cost $350. There was also something mentioning if you wanted to start a league there would also be some sort of cost
Ed Carpus November 6, 2011 at 5:37am
Really surprised to be saying this...I went out and played the other day and I have to agree with Brandon. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing 6 holes come out and the remaining 18 be better maintained...
Another thing I wouldn't mind seeing addressed is a rumor I heard that the Parks Department wants $450 just to have a tournament there, not counting pavilion rental or any other costs...
Nate Buban November 2, 2011 at 11:50pm
this is a aweful idea, who is behind all of this non-sence? John, please help this matter.
brent moreno November 2, 2011 at 11:32pm
put a sign for the walkers both ways for hole 6 and just play 8 and 15 from shorts only, just sayin .
Brandon Redmond November 2, 2011 at 6:35pm
I'm in agreement with Doug on this, there's less expensive ways to kep this course a 24...but to play devil's advocate, let's say holes 6 and 8 are taken bc of danger, fine. Hole 15 hasn't had a tee pad i how long, and there's prolly not good spot to put it, it'll just wash away agin. then you have the backtrack to hole 19 or 20 I believe it is, way out away from all the other holes, and you have to walk the actual hole to get there. If removing 6 baskets allow ... more
Douglas "Fresh" Watson November 2, 2011 at 2:12am
Some signs saying "Caution: Disc golf course - flying discs in area" would be a cheap investment. I've never had a problem with 6, and I think it's open enough that golfers can see walkers/bikers. On hole 8 maybe just chop some of the bushes to the left of the pad.
Ed Carpus November 1, 2011 at 10:33pm
So move those two teepads on the other side of the path. Don't pull six baskets because they ran the walking path through the middle of the disc golf course...Hole 8 is one of the "iconic" Riverbends holes, at least to me.
